KNS Compact Kitchen

This is the first collaborative product between KNS (Karimoku New Standard), a brand established in 2009 by Karimoku Furniture, Japan's largest wooden furniture manufacturer, and Miratap (formerly Sanwa Company). It was born from the combination of Miratap's (formerly Sanwa Company's) accumulated experience in manufacturing compact kitchens and Karimoku's woodworking technology and years of know-how. The design, based on the concept of a "hybrid of a functional kitchen unit and a wooden sideboard," will breathe new life into your space.

The cabinet's design is inspired by the grid structure found in modernist architecture. The three-dimensional, deep vertical and horizontal lines evoke a living room sideboard, blending seamlessly into any interior. The domestically produced oak wood, also known as "Japanese oak," is popular overseas as well. The combination of Japanese oak and a sharp stainless steel top was well-received at the Milan Salone, where it was unveiled prior to its release.
